About Little Learners
Little Learners is a playful enrichment program for young children and their caregivers. Sessions are designed to feel welcoming, hands-on, and easy to join, with activities that support early language, problem-solving, movement, and social development through everyday play.
Children might sort and count, build and balance, listen to a story, explore sensory materials, or take part in a simple guided activity connected to a weekly theme. Caregivers stay with their child throughout the session, joining in, encouraging participation, and sharing in the experience together.
What makes Little Learners special is the balance of freedom and support. There is room to explore, but there is also enough structure to help children practice listening, trying new things, and growing more comfortable in a group setting.

What to expect when you arrive
Little Learners takes place in an HFRC play space designed for young children and their caregivers. The room is set up to feel welcoming, flexible, and easy to join, whether your child is ready to jump right in or needs a little time to warm up.
Caregivers stay with their child during the session and are encouraged to participate alongside them. Some children move right toward the activities. Others take a little longer to settle in. Both are completely okay here.
Wear comfortable everyday clothes and expect a mix of guided moments, open-ended play, and hands-on activity. The goal is not to perform or keep up. The goal is to explore, connect, and enjoy the experience together.
