about our programs
HFRC gives children and their caregivers a place to explore new interests and meet other families. Every program is free, with opportunities for hands-on learning, creative play, and practical support for caregivers.
Children can mix ingredients, make music, investigate something they found outdoors, or work through a new activity. Caregivers participate alongside them, with staff offering guidance and room for children to watch, try, and join in at their own pace.
For caregivers, HFRC is also a place to ask questions and talk with other adults. Parent Education offers focused guidance and discussion, while everyday conversations give families a chance to get to know one another.

Little Learner’s Enrichment Activities
Hands-on activities that build early literacy and fine-motor skills.
Little Chefs
Hands-on cooking to grow early math, science, motor, and language skills. Registration required.

Weekly outdoor exploration and nature play at local parks. Walks are held in the Arnot Mall during the Winter.
